Rapid LFD Testing at TGS 

Rapid testing (using a Lateral Flow Device, LFD) helps identify those asymptomatic cases that might otherwise not be detected, causing the virus to spread further. The testing offer at Tonbridge Grammar School is in line with Department for Education guidance.

Home Testing

Staff and students will be provided with home testing kits to enable them to resume subsequent regular testing at home.

Results should be notified to the NHS https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result and also to the School - see below links.

Any students or staff testing positive via this testing should self-isolate as soon as possible.

Parents and carers of school children are also being encouraged to test twice a week - kits can be ordered from Schools, nurseries and colleges testing: order coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow home test kits - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
