It is impossible to accurately predict where Tonbridge Grammar School cut off scores will settle. Please read the 'Guidance for Parents Year 7 Entry 2025' below for further information.

It is essential that families put schools on their application form in the order that they genuinely prefer them, regardless of other factors like historical scoring patterns (past years' scores are available in the 'Guidance for parents' download below). Putting TGS as your first choice does not represent any risk to the likelihood of success at other schools on your list.

TGS is closed Monday 21 October to Friday 1 November for the half term holiday. If you have any queries regarding the application process you may find they can be answered by visiting the Kent County Council website here. Our website contains detailed information about TGS, plus there is an electronic prospectus available further down this page, if you were not able to visit our Open Events last week. However, if you should require any further clarification please contact admissions@tgs.kent.sch.uk and we will respond as soon as we are able.

Secondary Common Application Forms (SCAF) need to be completed and returned to KCC by 31st October.

There is no supplementary form required for applying to TGS, unless applying for a Pupil Premium Place (of which there are 15 available) and more information is on the website regarding this.

Booking will 'OPEN' on Monday 16th September and links to book tickets will appear below:

You will be able to book tickets for a maximum of THREE people (including your Year 6 child). We are aware of many families who have registered interest for the event in both parents’ names. Please ensure that only one parent now books tickets so that we can accommodate as many families as possible. If you discover a duplicate booking has been made please email office@tgs.kent.sch.uk with the email address you used to reserve tickets and we can delete the booking.

Ensure that you have accepted both the Tonbridge Grammar School’s and Applicaa’s Privacy Policies to allow you to confirm your tickets on the order screen.
