Application Form 

Applications to join our Sixth form in September 2026 are now open. Applications must be made via our online application form which can be accessed by clicking on the button below.

All students who apply before 31 January 2026 will be invited to attend a Guidance Meeting in early 2026.  The meeting provides the opportunity to have a conversation with a member of our leadership team, helping each student to create the optimum programme of study for them.  Please note that guidance meetings are optional and do not form a formal part of the application programme, although students always comment on how helpful they have found this opportunity. 

Entry Requirements 2026 (to be read in conjunction with our Admissions Policy Entry 2026, available below)

Please note: Following the removal of Government funding and the School’s necessary decision to change its Sixth Form curriculum from the International Baccalaureate Diploma to A Levels in September 2026, we would like to clarify the entry requirements for admission to our Sixth Form from that date. 

All candidates must achieve a minimum grade 6 in the following GCSE subjects (or equivalent): English Language or English Literature, Mathematics, and two Sciences. These requirements ensure that students have a balanced foundation of prior knowledge and remain eligible to request a programme change in the future. 

In addition to these core requirements, students must also meet the subject-specific entry criteria for the A Level subjects they wish to study. In line with our Admissions Policy, this means achieving a grade 7 at GCSE for the chosen subject, and a grade 8 for Further Mathematics. These standards reflect the same level of eligibility previously required for IB Diploma Higher Level subjects.
