Leadership Opportunities.

Leadership is a key part of your Super Curricular Programme.

Visit our Lead and drive change page for more information about our Leadership programme.

Build real world work experience into your programme of study in a flexible way.

We know work experience sets you apart from other university and degree apprenticeship applicants, but that limiting this to a specified week each year limits your options. That’s why we offer a flexible programme, giving you time away from school when it suits you and your host employer—so you can build meaningful experience throughout your placement.

Additionally, our engaged alumni provide inspiration through talks, mentoring and practice interviews.

Visiting Speakers

Learn from, and be inspired by, a wide range of guest speakers. Our programme of visiting speakers and ‘in conversation’ programme broadens horizons and allows you to hear experts in a wide variety of spheres. Whether that be a philosopher from Oxford University, Rowena Chiu global #MeToo activist, a brain injury specialist or two eminent authors, Victoria Hislop and Dan Abnett in conversation, there is an event for every interest.

We asked students which co-curricular activities they tried during their first few months at TGS:
