In-year entry to the school

Tonbridge Grammar School is popular and heavily oversubscribed.  This means that the School is usually full in all year groups although occasionally space will arise due to family relocation or change of school.  If you would like to make an application you are welcome to do so.

The In Year Casual Application Form is available to download here - please send the completed form direct to the Admissions Office at the school.  If you live outside Kent you will need to contact your current Local Authority to establish their arrangements for in year transfer, which may differ from Authority to Authority.

All applicants are expected to sit pre-admission tests to assess suitability and the Admissions Office will contact you to make arrangements for these.

Friday 8 March 2024

Friday 21 June 2024

Closing date for In Year Applications is 5 working days preceding each test date published.  Any applications received during this time will be  processed for the next available assessment date.
