Y10 and Y11 historians learn about teenage life and experiences in the 1940s and 50s

Seven Y10 and Y11 historians visited the Hyllden Heights Care Home near Tonbridge for a series of Q&A interviews with the residents.

They spoke about teenage life and experiences in the late '40s and '50s, comparing it to today and also learned about the exciting and inspirational lives the residents have lived.

There was even a chance for the students and residents to share their love of pets when Theodore the guinea pig was brought out for cuddles.

All in all, the afternoon was a lovely meeting of two different generations.
