Students enjoy singing Christmas carols and playing hymns at Fountains Lodge

A group of Year 7-12 students enjoyed a lovely afternoon singing Christmas carols and playing hymns for the service users of Fountains Lodge Care home in Southborough.

It was a special event for all. It is proven that music is a powerful memory clue as it stimulates many regions in the brain. During the performance, we saw the service users signing along, dancing and for some shedding an emotional tear.

I would like to thank Mr Fish, Mr Hayward, Mrs Bartle and Mrs Hindocha for their support and to all the wonderful performers for their time and dedication.
