Duke of Edinburgh's Award participants volunteer 2,184 hours of their time.

Thank you to Duke of Edinburgh's Award participants who together gave 2,184 hours of their time in volunteering projects between April 2022 and March 2023, making a real difference in the local community. 

Projects were varied and included: 

  • Subject mentoring in school to help younger students.
  • Litter picking and removal of graffiti in the local area.
  • Working in the local charity shops such as Barnados.
  • Assisting with local sports clubs to encourage participation of girls in sports such as football and rugby.
  • Running campcraft and navigation sessions at Girl Guides, Scouts, Brownies and Cubs.
