ChemSoc members learn about advancing battery science and technology to improve sustainability

Our thanks to alumna Issy Stephens who recently spoke at ChemSoc.  She talked about studying Chemistry at the University of Oxford and her current experience as a PhD student working at the Faraday Institution, looking at advancing battery science and technology to improve sustainability.

It was refreshing to hear how Chemistry is being used to improve the environment and impressive to hear Issy discuss how she combines her passion for environmental sustainability with research into structural stabilisation of next generation Lithium-ion batteries.
