What I love about TGS is the amazing friendships I have formed here. Over the years I have reconnected with old friends and made new ones, and I am so lucky to be surrounded by such a brilliant group of people.

Which is your favourite subject?  
History is my favourite subject.  I really enjoy delving into the reasons and thinking behind some of history’s greatest figures and events. I find it very interesting to reflect on how the events we study have shaped our world today and what we can learn from them. 

What co-curricular clubs and activities do you enjoy, and why? 
I am currently attending Games Club every Tuesday lunchtime, which allows me to play various sports such as netball and hockey, which I have represented the school in.  

Outside of school I am currently moving through the Young Leaders Cricket Program. This is supported through my cricket club and is giving me the skills to allow me to eventually coach cricket. I have been fortunate to be able to bring these skills into PE classes this summer term and I hope I have brought a better understanding and love of the game to my classmates. As well as these sporting activities, I have also taken part in Drama Club and school productions for drama and dance, which I loved being involved in! 

What do you hope to do after TGS?
When I leave TGS I hope to study further at university. I am not yet sure of what career I would like to pursue, but I love Drama, English, Languages, and History so hopefully I can find a career that allows me to use all those skills! 

What advice would you give someone thinking of joining TGS?
Make the most of what our school has to offer. Joining clubs in year 7 is a great way to make new friends, try different activities and really helped me settle in.  

What has been your favourite TGS moment to date?  
My favourite moment of TGS so far was being part of the Odyssey production. I loved the whole process of rehearsing and helping the show come to life. The final shows were amazing and I can't wait to do it again!
