In common with Tonbridge Grammar School, their college offers the internationally recognised IB Diploma programme and the visit was planned for the schools to share best practice and knowledge.

The guests visited a variety of sessions that reflected the breadth and depth of the IB Diploma qualification (including Theory of Knowledge, Visual Arts, English and Literature) and provided the opportunity to converse with students and staff. They also met with the Tonbridge Grammar School IB Team.

Our day at Tonbridge Grammar School was well spent, in what we observed to be a supportive learning environment with innovative pedagogy which fostered active student engagement. We could not miss the intentional focus on student and teacher wellbeing and the love for learning demonstrated by the students. We were excited to see common practices and also identified many learning opportunities for our context at SOS-HGIC. We look forward to building a long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationship for our staff and students.
