Year 8 explore the world of advertising and charity promotion in 'Apprentice' style challenge

During IDU Week, Year 8 explored the world of advertising and charity promotion in an ‘Apprentice’ style challenge.

This year, their task was brought to life by students working to specific design briefs for each of the school House Charities.  As part of their promotional package, students were asked to develop a T-shirt and tote bag designs alongside a short stop-motion animated video, all with the aim of promoting a particular aspect of their given charity’s work.

Each charity met with their allocated houses at the start of the week and then returned at the end of the week as audiences for the students’ pitches and to decide who was theoretically getting ‘hired’.  It was a fantastic experience for all involved.
