TGS Awarded the Kent Resilience and Wellbeing Award

The wellbeing of the students is at the heart of everything we do at TGS and we are delighted that the hard work of our dedicated wellbeing team and the wider programme of support they have created has been recognised.

The award recognises schools and community organisations across Kent that show a strong commitment to promoting emotional wellbeing and building resilience through a whole setting approach.  Jointly presented by Kent County Council and The National Lottery Community Fund, the award celebrates existing good practices and encourages continued development in creating supportive, resilient environments.

This award goes beyond individual programs, focusing instead on embedding wellbeing and resilience into the ethos, culture, and daily practices of the entire school. It also highlights the importance of pupil voice, parent engagement, and aligning efforts with the organisation's broader priorities.

In recognition of the work we do at TGS, Kent resilience team said:

“It’s great to read about the wide-ranging programmes, projects, resources and events that combine with the core work going on daily to support emotional health and wellbeing of pupils, staff and families. Congratulations on all the wonderful work being done to support resilience and emotional wellbeing at Tonbridge Grammar School.”
