Second Round Offer Day 24 April 2025

Second round offers were made on 24 April 2025 and the cut-off score for the Area offers was 366, with no distance tie-break applied. The cut-off score for the Trustee offers was 389, with no distance tie-break applied. 

National Offer Day 3 March 2025

Following offers issued on National Offer Day, the cut-off score for the Area offers was 368, with no distance tie-break applied. The cut-off score for the Trustee offers was 395, with no distance tie-break applied. 

If you have been offered a place at TGS please note the information below:

Acceptance/refusal emails should be sent to admissions@tgs.kent.sch.uk marked for the attention of Mrs Court by 17 March. If you live outside Kent please contact Mrs Court direct by email (as well as following the instructions given by your Local Authority).

Declined Offers must be made in writing to admissions@tgs.kent.sch.uk and cannot be accepted over the phone.

TGS  welcome letters and registration instructions will be emailed to families by 7 March.

Induction Day for 2025 entry will be Thursday 3 July, in common with many West Kent schools and  information will be made available in due course.

First day of term in September for Year 7 & 12 is Wednesday 3 September 2025.

If you have not been offered a place at TGS you may wish to consider the following information:

Waiting list – all children will be automatically placed on the waiting list for any higher preferences than the school offered.

Information on appeals is available on the TGS website here.

Any declined places will be filled via KCC’s Reallocation on 24 April 2025.

Please note that we do not have access to the waiting list until after 24 April.

Due to limited hall capacity we will be unable to admit anyone who does not present an advance booking ticket to attend the Head Teacher presentations.
