Year 10 student was part of a group of all-female bell ringers who rang a quarter peal to celebrate the new Archbishop’s installation

Congratulations to Esmé in Year 10 who was part of a group of all-female bell ringers who rang a quarter peal at their local church to celebrate the Archbishop’s installation.

Their efforts were also inspired by a similar all-female band of ringers celebrating at Canterbury: Cathedral Women to ring quarter peal for new Archbishop

I was delighted to hear that Esmé was part of a group of all female bell ringers who rang a quarter peal at their local church to celebrate the Archbishop’s installation. This is a wonderful example of young women recognising, supporting and celebrating female leadership.  I hope that our students will continue to be inspired by women such as Archbishop Mullally, and will aspire to become influential, compassionate and courageous leaders themselves in the future.
