They both play for Langton Green Lynx U16 girls’ team and the match finished 3 v 2 in Langton Green's favour in dramatic style.

Langton Green were 2 v 1 down with only 5 minutes to go, however; Elsie stepped up to bury a penalty to take it to 2 v 2. 

With only a minute left on the clock, and the game heading towards extra time and the possibility of the dreaded penalties; Maddie secured the ball in defence and launched Elsie in attack. 

Elsie drove into the Medway penalty area and hit an unstoppable shot to win the game with literally the last kick of the game.
