Congratulations to the GCSE Class of 2025 who are celebrating outstanding GCSE results

The average GCSE grade across all subjects was 7.48 with students achieving particularly strong outcomes in the Sciences and Mathematics. 

Mrs Crean, Head Teacher, commented “We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students who have worked hard to obtain these excellent GCSE outcomes. It was wonderful to see so many students celebrating their successes with their family and friends on GCSE Results Day. Congratulations to everyone in Year 11 and we look forward to seeing them on Wednesday as they start their Sixth Form journey”.  

Key points:  

  • 85% of the cohort achieved 5 or more grades at 9-7.      

  • 52% of students achieved ten or more subjects at grades 9-7.      

  • 77% of all GCSE grades were at grades 9-7.    

  • 54% of all GCSE grades were at grades 9-8.  

  • 5% of students were awarded ten or more grade 9s.   

  • 28% of students received ten or more grades 8 or 9.     

  • The estimated Attainment 8 score for the cohort is 77.5.
