Alumna Megan, now a surveyor, shares her degree apprenticeship experience with Year 12 students

We were delighted to have a visit from alumna Megan who is our surveyor, to our school for a talk to Year 12s about degree apprenticeships. Megan was incredibly insightful, sharing her experience and advice regarding how to apply for apprenticeships and what to expect.

Following this talk, Megan also joined us in our DT lesson to go more in depth about what she does as a building surveyor. She has shared some wonderful and very useful information with us, such as an introduction to what dilapidation and RCA is and how it affects our choices when choosing materials etc.
