Double victory for TGS as U15 and U13 teams win West Kent District Football Finals

The U13s, who are undefeated this season and already Kent Champions, overcame a strong TWGGS side that they had not beaten in all of their qualifying tournaments this year. An early goal from Olivia following good work from Jess, relieved the early pressure from TWGGS. The game was very close until Ellie battled for the ball on the touchline, overpowering the defender to shoot past the keeper.  

The U15s secured a win over a depleted Knole side who battled hard throughout. The game was end to end but goals by Molly and Natalie were enough to seal the victory. Most of the Year 9 players in this team had played in the last two finals in which TGS had finished as runners up, so it was wonderful to see them achieve victory in their third final in a row.
