Congratulations to Year 11 Drama Students on their outstanding scripted performances

Year 11 Drama students delivered a remarkable showcase of talent as they performed their scripted pieces to an examiner, along with a separate performance to an audience of family and friends. The work highlighted the exceptional maturity, depth and commitment of the cohort, who tackled a range of challenging and sophisticated scripts.

Students brought to life powerful extracts from The Wasp, A Taste of Honey, Metamorphosis, The Tyler Sisters, Hard to Swallow, The Memory of Water, and Five Kinds of Silence. Each performance demonstrated refined characterisation, thoughtful interpretation, and a level of sophistication well beyond their years.

The department extends congratulations to the entire Year 11 group for their professionalism, talent and courage. It was an unforgettable evening and a true celebration of the incredible young performers within our school community.

I could not be prouder of our Year 11 Drama Students. Their courage, discipline and artistry were evident in every performance. They tackled complex material with real sophistication, and their talent was simply inspiring.
