TGS Careers Day inspires students across year groups

Tonbridge Grammar School was delighted to welcome 53 volunteers, to this year’s highly successful Careers Day. The event offered students from Years 9 to 13 the chance to explore an impressive range of industries from medicine, engineering, law and finance to creative fields, life sciences and technology.

Year 9 students attended a workshop which helped them link their GCSE choices to real-world careers through conversations with professionals, giving many a clearer sense of direction as they begin shaping future ambitions. Students in Years 10 to 13 had the opportunity to engage in more detailed one-to-one discussions about progression routes, required skill sets, and emerging career trends.

Tonbridge Grammar School extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers whose enthusiasm and expertise made this year’s Careers Day both impactful and inspiring. A full list of those who kindly gave up their time is available here

Thank you to all those who generously donate to our School Fund and our business sponsors for supporting the event. We are deeply grateful for their contribution to enhancing careers education at TGS.
