Year 9 geographers enjoy the opportunity to explore rocks and minerals at The Natural History Museum

Our Year 9 students had a brilliant time at the Natural History Museum.

They explored rocks and minerals; where they are found, what they are used for, hunting for different elements and saw some stunning real‑life specimens.

They also investigated volcanoes and earthquakes, including interactive exhibits and even an earthquake simulator!

A fantastic day filled with scientific curiosity, learning, and excitement. Well done, Year 9!
