Applications have been made to a wide range of institutions with Edinburgh, Durham and Oxford the most popular UK universities applied for, plus many further afield including Sciences Po, Minerva University and the universities of Chicago, Hong Kong and Tokyo. 

At this stage 44% of students have at least three offers with 25% of applicants holding at least four offers which is impressive given the competitive nature of the courses and institutions applied for.  

The wide variety of programmes of study applied for represent students’ wide-ranging interests with the most popular choices applied for including Economics, Psychology, Biomedical/Biological Sciences, Medicine/Dentistry/ Veterinary Science, Politics, Law and Engineering pathways.  

A notable number of students have applied for competitive creative programmes such as Music, Journalism, Fine Art, Product Design and mixed creative/humanities pathways. 

Notable successes to date include an offer for a place at Princeton for an elite sports scholarship, a degree apprenticeship with Deloitte, a student holding five offers for Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering and a significant number of students holding Oxbridge offers.
