PTA Winter Fair

The atmosphere at last weekend's PTA Winter Fair was warm and convivial with students, parents, family and friends enjoying games from Wipeout inflatables to Basketball to Mario Kart racing and good food; from the PTA BBQ to Amazing Munch's Sri Lankan street food (which sold out of food) and Sam Islam's bubble tea and samosas.

We had a wide variety of external stallholders from Oast House Apiary's honey and bee-related products to Zanes' magic tricks on his magic table.

In the Mitchener Hall we had superb a capella singing from Green Street Blues for the second year running, which included a TGS parent.

Our thanks go to the 100 plus volunteers comprising parents and students who volunteered to make it happen. We raised approximately £5,000 from the fair and from the raffle (the exact net surplus is still to be calculated).

So for one afternoon we were able to forget the rain and the cold and enjoy good food, good drink and had good fun and good company.
