Sixth Form Life

Our dedicated Sixth Form Centre, the IBarn, is at the centre of the school site and a place for our Sixth Form students to study independently and relax.

Ground Floor
Downstairs is the heart of the building and Sixth Form life, boasting a large open space for socialising and group work:

Additionally, it's where the IBistro, the Sixth Form's own catering outlet can be found. It's an ideal place to grab lunch, coffee or a snack.

Students also enjoy working and collaborating in the outdoor areas that surround the building.

First Floor
Upstairs there are a variety of rooms for study. Some are for silent study and others for group work.

Gym and Sports Facilities
Sixth Form students have full access to the on site gym and all other sports facilities and enjoy an afternoon of sport, 'Sport Friday', on a Friday afternoon.

Dress Code

Sixth Form students are role models for our wider community and younger students, and this is an essential part of Sixth Form life. There is flexibility for context dependent dressing in keeping with modern workplaces. During the school day, clothing should be smart, comfortable, and suitable for studies. Our warm, inclusive internationally-minded Sixth Form is a place where each student and their interests and passions are supported and celebrated. There are plenty of opportunities to connect with like minded people either on team building days, during co-curricular activities and in interdisciplinary projects.
