Lead and drive change

Our established leadership programme is sincere and 'lived’. Here students are recognised by teachers as leaders and really can be agents for change. There is a role for every interest, be it Head Student, Ambassador for Diversity and Inclusion, House Leader or Subject Ambassador to name but a few. We also run the ‘Women in Leadership’ programme.

Leadership can take you wherever your interests lie and as well as the formal opportunities students are empowered to follow their interests...recent projects have included setting up links with a reading charity and school in Africa, running a whole school Culture Day, leading a Maths Challenge in the
Netherlands, having a leading role in changing school policies, chairing the School Council, conducting the orchestra, running Drama Club, coaching sports teams, mentoring younger students and working across year groups (e.g. Sixth Form Sustainability Ambassadors working with Form Eco Reps).

Grow your leadership skills through voluntary work.

We have an established volunteering programme and up to date links with a wide range of organisations; including local and international
charities, community foodbanks and special educational providers to name but a few, offering you the opportunity to lead and really make a difference in the world.
