Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)

Meet general entry requirements

 Notes

  • Students must meet both the general entry requirements and the published subject entry requirements.
  • Meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee a place where a course is oversubscribed. Where applications exceed the number of places available, the oversubscription criteria published in the Sixth Form Admissions Policy will be applied.
  • Where a student has studied a subject at GCSE, they must achieve the published grade in that subject to continue study at A Level.
  • Where a subject has not been studied at GCSE, students must meet the specified alternative entry requirement(s) shown in the table. Alternative qualifications are considered only where the subject has not previously been studied.
  • Δ Grade 6 or above in GCSE Mathematics is strongly recommended to study Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  • Further Mathematics can only be selected in addition to Mathematics as a fourth A Level.
  • The School reserves the right to consider other relevant qualifications and prior learning when making admissions decisions.
  • Courses will only run where viable student numbers, staffing capacity and timetable arrangements allow.
  • Entry requirements are reviewed annually and may be amended for future admissions cycles.
