Teacher of Biology (Fixed-term 1 year)

We are looking for an inspiring individual who will relish the opportunity to teach Biology to our highly motivated students. You should be a good Honours graduate, with a love of Biology and able to teach the subject to the highest academic level. You will also teach the separate three Sciences in Years 7-9. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to further their career in an intellectually stimulating environment. The ability to offer at least one Science other than Biology to GCSE is desirable.

The Sciences are studied by all students throughout the School including the Sixth Form as part of the IB Diploma.  Students in years 7–11 and in our co-ed sixth form become increasingly independent learners as they progress through the School and achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and in the internationally recognised IB Diploma.  Experience of teaching the IB is not essential. Training will be offered as required.
