In this newsletter I am delighted to report Development and Alumni activity during the year, on fundraising and how the money raised is being spent. The School is profoundly grateful for your generous support.
Play Your Part has hit the target and the deadline to raise enough money to complete the refurbishments of Music and Art and the internal fittings of the new Sixth Form Study Centre.
Thanks to so many parents, alumni, staff and students for responding to the urgent Play Your Part call to secure funds for the Music and Art refurbishment and the internal furniture, fixings and equipment within the Sixth Form Study Centre.
Thanks to everyone who has made a donation or a pledge in response to our urgent end of February deadline for decisions to be made about the interior building and equipping work for Music, Art and the Sixth Form Study Centre. We are almost half way towards the target of £240,000 that we need to raise by the end of this month if we do the best job we can on this part of the development.
The Play Your Part Campaign has become more urgent with decisions about how much the School can spend on refurbishment needing to be taken at the end of February. We need to raise a further £240, 000 in order to achieve the very best refurbishments we can for Music and Art.
Great news – Play Your Part has raised over £100,000 from donations which means that the £100,000 in matched funding can now be added to our total. The anonymous donor, who has no direct connec9on with Tonbridge Grammar, believes so strongly in what the school stands for and what TGS students achieve, that he has supported the fund-raising through this substantial matched gift
Welcome to the First Play Your Part newsletter – a way of keeping everyone up-to-date with the fundraising, the building work and ways of getting involved.
