Year 10 Drama and Music CAS students have been preparing their community performances for a visit to the pupils of Bishop Chavasse Primary School in Tonbridge on 15th May.
They will be performing 10 minute pieces of Theatre in Education to reception students at the school, covering a range of topics from bullying to Languages. Emily, one of the Year 10 Students involved, said "Preparing for this performance was an incitful experience. The audience was a different demographic to ones we have performed to before. This made creating the show a new experience and one I have enjoyed greatly."
CAS or Creativity, activity, service (CAS) is one of the three essential elements that every student must complete as part of the Diploma Programme (DP). As a preparation for the sixth form, Year10 students in their GCSE years can opt for a range of activities alongside their academic studies.
