The School has been closed to students today following snowfall overnight and during the morning. The site is now closed to staff. Whilst we have been able to clear paths at school, snow on pavements and roads in the immediate area around the site has made travel very difficult.
There is snow forecast overnight and very cold temperatures may mean that there is a risk of ice. We will review the site tomorrow morning and provide an update on the school website following an assessment at 7am.
We understand that some students may leave for school early in the morning and that parents will want to wait until they are sure that the School is open. Parents must assess the safety of any travel arrangements and we appreciate that there may be some disruption.
Continuity of Learning
Whilst the school site is closed, learning at home can continue. Students can: read for pleasure, undertake research to broaden their understanding, consolidate a topic or practise skills, address learning targets or complete homework. GCSE and IB students should take this opportunity to consolidate learning and revise. Resources can be accessed by subject using Foldr.
