Sir John Jones to speak at the first Kaizen Teaching School Alliance Conference in Kent.
A group of Kent schools, including Tonbridge Grammar School are getting together to organise their first event for the promotion and development of effective school development, and learning and teaching this autumn.
THE KAIZEN TEACHING SCHOOL ALLIANCE is holding its first conference on Tuesday 19th September 2017 between 4.00-7.00pm in the new Weald of Kent Sports Hall. Locally sourced and produced refreshments from Hadlow College will be available throughout the event.
This year’s conference programme will be kicked off by exciting workshops of best practice from across the Alliance, for both primary and secondary phases. Tonbridge Grammar School staff will be presenting a session, before hearing from keynote speaker Sir John Jones, one of the world’s most popular speakers on change.
The Kaizen Teaching School Alliance has been formed to meet the priorities of schools to create a more valuable learning experience for all our learners, working with local teaching school Weald of Kent Grammar School. Tonbridge Grammar School is a strategic partner of the Alliance.
The Kaizen Teaching School Alliance (KTSA), established since September 2014, now comprises of a significant number of Kent schools. School partners represent primary, junior, secondary, special, faith and selective schools and academies drawn from across the Kent and Medway area, a list of partners can be seen here.
The event is open all interested in education, including Head teachers, Principals, Governors, Senior Leaders, Finance Directors, Business Managers, Bursars, Administrators, LA Education Leaders, IT Managers and Site Managers from the state, academy and private sectors.
