Tunbridge Wells Arts Festival winner

Tonbridge Grammar School IB Music student Olivia (Year 12) took part in the Tunbridge Wells Arts Festival last weekend. She won the Folk song class and received the Senior Folk Song Cup for the highest mark in the Folk category.

She attended the GEMS concert last weekend. This prestigious and highly enjoyable event took place at Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells, on the afternoon of Sunday 19th March 2017.  The concert showcased a varied selection of the Festival’s outstanding performances, followed by the presentation of class winners trophies.  Additionally, a number of special awards will be made at the concert to individuals selected by the Committee. Olivia was awarded  the June and John Hill Trophy awarded to an outstanding singer overall

Olivia received her awards from the Mayor of Tunbridge Wells David Neve at the end of the concert. Well done!
