Kaizen Teaching School Alliance, established in September 2014 a group of school partners representing primary, junior, secondary, special, faith and selective schools and academies drawn from across the Kent and Medway area, including Tonbridge Grammar School, has partnered with education specialists University of Brighton to launch a pilot cohort of a unique new Master’s degree in Education.
The Education MA has been designed in partnership with the Alliance’s Research and Development strand as an ideal springboard for education practitioners who want to develop their teaching expertise.
Launching in October 2017, the 2-year MA will give students access to regular interaction from Kaizen’s expert teams and the resources and expertise of a well-known local University. Students will have the opportunity to be involved in school-based projects. The students will develop a more evidence-informed, high quality teaching practice, which in turn will benefit the young people they teach.
