Kent Schools Athletics Competition

Tonbridge Grammar School sent 13 athletes to the Kent School Championships this year.

They all performed incredibly well.

Inter girls

100m – Tabitha Reed 14.12 sec

300m – Rebecca O’Hara 2nd 41.71 sec

Discus – Jenny Stevens 1st 35.64 m

Hammer – Jenny Stevens 2nd 38.56 m

Junior Girls

1500 – Stephanie Taylor 12th 5.24.72 sec

High Jump – Emilia Davies 11th 1.35 m

Long Jump – Mischa Mortleman 5th 4.71 m

Shot – Jade Coatsworth 3rd 8.81 m

Discus – Jade Coatsworth 4th 23. 78 m

Javelin – Maisie Douch 3rd 27.14 m (and new school record)

Year 7 girls

1500m – Matilda Hall 3rd 5.21.41 sec

Athletes from Tonbridge Grammar School have also broken four school records so far this summer. We’re hoping more are broken at sports day 25th June.
