Tonbridge Grammar School celebrated Science Week with lots of activities, 17th-21st March.
One lesson set students the challenge to devise the best possible chemical mixture for making a bouncy ball!
There was an interhouse competition to see which ball bounced highest, and Carey House won!
Matilde Filce, Ike Olomo, Beatrice O’Mahoney, Hannah Kennedy, and Jessica Wayne who won the competition said: ‘We really enjoyed it.’
Other lessons involved creating structures capable of supporting heavy weights using newspaper, plus parachute design - sadly not all the eggs made it.
