TGS Year 7 cricketers win Year 8 area competition and qualify for County Final

Our Year 7 cricket players who have been attending coaching sessions over the past term won the area Lady Taverner’s competition at North West Kent College, Dartford on Wednesday 12th March. Our squad of 10 Year 7 players competed against mainly Year 8 teams. The tournament was organised in two groups or pools.

Tonbridge were in Group 1 and won the first match v Colfes (A), lost their next match against Chis & Sid, and won their third match against Bexley Grammar.

Tonbridge beat Hayes (the winners of Group 2) in the final to qualify for the County Final on 2nd April. Well done to all of the players  for such a fantastic team performance.
