Burrswood Charity Concert

Y12 IB Students from Tonbridge Grammar School performed at a charity concert at Burrswood Hospital last weekend, performing a wide variety of pieces to help raise money for their hydrotherapy room.

Daniel McConkey (Sax) performed the Solo de Concert (Singelee), Molly Simpson (soprano) sang Someone to Watch over me by Gershwin,  Lydia Hipps (Horn) a Rondo Allegro (Mozart), Millie Hodgkinson (piano) played To Zanarkland, and Charlotte Dunn (contralto) sang songs by Orlando Gibbons and Schumann.

They performed alongside other guests of the Paddock Wood Choral Society (director Adrian Pitts), including former TGS student Rachel Balcombe, with all performers joining in a rousing performance of ‘Zadok the Priest’ at the end.
