Work selected for the John Downton Award 2013 Art Competition.

The John Downton Award for Young Artists is an annual exhibition which encourages and celebrates the creativity of the county’s young artists.

Students, aged 11 - 18, from schools and colleges across Kent are invited to participate and the best examples of their painting and drawing submissions will be exhibited at County Hall in Maidstone. Hosted by KCC on behalf of the John Downton Trust, the exhibition commemorates the life and work of John Downton, the celebrated Kent artist, poet and philosopher.

The 2013 exhibition will be held from 28 October - 7 December.
