Supporting and Giving to the School Fund

When you express your support and when you make a financial gift to the School Fund, you are enriching the the everyday TGS experience. All gifts, however large or small, are greatly appreciated and gifts received through regular standing orders allow us to plan for the year ahead. By expressing support for the School Fund you also help us to demonstrate our commitment to the School’s activities when applying for funding elsewhere.

Please complete the form below to inform us how you intend to support the School Fund.

Please then need to use your bank’s services to administer your gift.

Gift Aid Declaration - TGS receives an extra 25p per £1 donated through Gift Aid
I wish Tonbridge Grammar School to treat all donations I have made for the last four years prior to this year and all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise, as Gift Aid donations. I confirm that I have paid an amount of UK Income Tax / or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that Tonbridge Grammar School and all other charities I donate to will reclaim on my donations in the appropriate tax year (6 April on year to 5 April the next). It is my responsibility to pay any difference. Council tax and VAT do not count and I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1. I am under no obligations to make further payments and I can cancel this declaration at any time.
Notes about Gift Aid
Gift Aid is the UK Government tax scheme. As an exempt charity Tonbridge Grammar School can claim basic rate tax on qualifying donations from UK taxpayers. Gift Aid is reclaimed by TGS from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer. If you pay Income Tax at the higher rate or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code. Please notify TGS School Fund if you want to cancel your declaration, change your name or home address, or if you no longer pay sufficient UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax.
