A Year in the Life of Tonbridge Grammar School
Photography Project

Since September we have been working with a local photographer, Craig Prentis, to capture a Year in the Life of the School through a series of images. Craig visited the School in July 2015 to take some photographs for the school website and we were so pleased with his documentary style that we invited him to stay for the academic year! We feel that his photography is able to capture what it is like to be a member of the TGS community.

You will be able to see many of Craig’s photographs both on the school website and if you visit the School. We will be mounting an exhibition of the images at the School’s Founders Day in July 2016 where parents will be able to view, and even purchase,  some quite unique school photographs.

About Craig Prentis

Craig has been a photographer for over twenty years—he started his career as a sports photographer for a large picture agency and now mainly photographs weddings.

“I’m always looking for personal projects to do so having a whole school year to cover should make for an interesting long term project. I will be photographing a wide variety of subjects including in the classroom, school and sporting events—whatever will make for interesting shots.“
