Sixth Form students present research at Science Conference

Fourteen Year 12 students attended the Tonbridge School Science Conference last week, held in the world-class Barton Science Centre.

As well as listening to several key-note speakers, some of our students took the opportunity to present their Extended Essay research on topics such as magnetic levitation, clinical diagnosis and the problems posed by PFAS molecules.

Student who attended found the day very applicable to their present and further studies as follows:

I found the fair very insightful and interactive and was particularly interested in the Biology presentation about growing frog hearts and it has piqued my interest in the field.

I found the conference very useful as I was able to interact with people within the STEM field and deepen my understanding of course content.
