CAS students deliver over 1000kg of food to local foodbank

As part of the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme, a team of 30 students collaborated to plan, deliver and collect for Nourish, a local food bank that provides meals for families and individuals in need across the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells area.

The harvest festival was a wonderful opportunity to help people in need within our local community during a time of national crisis.  A group of sixth form students collaborated in order to organise collection of over 1000 kg of food. Seeing the generosity of TGS students across this period has been incredibly heart-warming and we hope to continue to support Nourish and other amazing charities in the future.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all the families who have donated to the collection. Its is very much appreciated.
