You take GCSE in Mathematics assessed through two external examinations at the end of Year 11.

Whilst we focus on preparation for external examinations, we enrich your mathematical experience through exploring and discovering more abstract concepts. We aim that you complete the course with outstanding numeracy and appreciation of Mathematics.

The GCSE syllabus allows development of skills in Number, Geometry, Statistics & Probability but has an appropriate emphasis on Algebraic skills which provide suitable preparation for all post-16 courses.
