You are warmly invited to attend our Finalists’ Concert of the annual Inter-House Music Competition on Wednesday 18th March at 7-9.30pm in the Mitchener Hall.
The standard was extremely high at the two days of Heats held just before half term, with a superb level of student participation across the year groups, and a full range of instruments being played as solos and smaller ensembles and House songs being performed by over an hundred students. From each House, the Year 11 music leaders have chosen a 15-minute varied musical programme for the Finalists’ Concert to showcase their musical talent.
Music is an integral part of our curriculum and I am delighted that so many of our students take up musical instruments, which has led to many personal successes in this competition. Our guest adjudicator for the evening will be our London Chamber Orchestra Music Junction Project Partnership Leader, Caroline Welsh.
It promises to be a fabulous evening of high quality music-making in all styles, from classical music to pop items, with solo vocal and instrumental music. Tickets are free, and can be reserved below. If you have any questions regarding any of the above arrangements then please contact us at your earliest convenience by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that there are other regular groups using the school during the evening, so there is no parking for parents on the school site.
