Spring Concert at St Stephen’s Church

On Thursday 26th March 2015 at 7pm we will be presenting our annual Spring Concert in St Stephen’s Church, Waterloo Road, Tonbridge, with a programme of varied music. Groups performing will include Swing Band, Cantores, Gaudete, A Capella Choir, Concert Orchestra, TGS Motet Choir, the Ukulele Orchestra and the Senior Orchestra. If your daughter/son is performing in one of these groups, please confirm that you give permission for her/him to perform by completing the permission form below.

The evening will feature music from a wide variety of genres and refreshments will be served during the interval. Unfortunately, the number of tickets is strictly limited to two per family on a first come first served basis, because of the anticipated demand from the large group of performers and the limited size of the venue.

As we are reaching the final planning stages of the significant improvement and refurbishment of the Music facilities at TGS over the summer, we are celebrating the diversity of musical performance at the school with all the money raised going towards the PYP Campaign.

All tickets for this concert are priced at £5.00. They can only be reserved and paid for on ParentPay. Due to high demand, we suggest that you order your tickets promptly to avoid disappointment. You will receive an invitation from Eventbrite to register your ticket after 20th March 2015, once your payment has been received on ParentPay. Please note that tickets will not be available on the door.  If returned tickets become available, we will operate a waiting list through the boxoffice@tgs.kent.sch.uk. The TGS PTA will also be offering the opportunity to enjoy a limited number of pre-ordered premium seats in the front few rows. Should you wish to reserve your seat for a further £5 donation to PYP you can do so separately by completing the slip below and put it into the PTA post-box by the 20th March 2015.

If you have any questions regarding any of the above arrangements then please contact me at your earliest convenience by email office@tgs.kent.sch.uk.

We are looking forward to a wonderful, celebratory evening and I hope to be able to share it with as many of you as possible. Please note the 7pm start time and allow enough time for parking in local roads.

Yours faithfully

Simon Hayward
Subject Leader for Music
