In the Upper School you study Biology in greater detail and meet some new topics such as the human brain, plant reproduction and the structure of DNA.

You develop skills in designing and carrying out your own investigations. You have to make choices about how many results you need, how to go about solving your research question and how to analyse and interpret the data you collect. This gives you control over your learning and helps you to understand that often there is more than one correct answer to a question.

All students follow the iGCSE Biology course, which provides excellent preparation for the Sixth Form.
