Years at TGS: 2011-2018.

Subjects you studied in Sixth Form: Higher Level: Maths, Computer Science, Physics. Standard Level: English Literature, Geography, Spanish.

House: Fayerman.

School honours: Student Head, SAFE.

Clubs and societies; Flight Simulator, SAFE, Robotics, Maths with Attitude.

Post school destination: Degree Apprenticeship with ARM ( 3 months study at Essex University then work 9 months at ARM).

Current or most recent role: Working in the modelling department at ARM to create computerised models of new CPOs.

What’s the most challenging part of your job?: Juggling studying and working.

How did the IB help in further study/your job?: It’s given me a greater ability to see various perspectives and great time management skills.

How did TGS support your application to further education?: Good opportunities to play around with techy bits in clubs (and studying Computer Science!).

What did TGS 'give' you that has stayed with you throughout your life?: Great friends, a better outlook on life and enthusiasm for working.

What would you tell someone thinking of studying at TGS?: Do it! It’s a great place to be and felt like a second home for 7 years.

Top 3 memories of your time at TGS: Chinook Helicopter landing on the sports field enabling us to find out more about potential careers in the armed forces. The Year 13 Prom and the Christmas Window Competition.

Where do you hope to be in 10 years’ time?: Happily secured and higher up in my field, studying and working on innovative software.

3 objects you’d take to a desert island: A book ! Lots of chocolate! Fluffy socks!

What makes you smile?: Friends.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?: Prime Minister.
