Tonbridge Grammar School Enrichment Twilight Classes


Tonbridge Grammar School offers a wide variety of courses and learning opportunities to the local community. We have a well established programme for learners of all ages.

Following a successful twilight enrichment programme offered in 2009, 2010 & 2011 for primary students from Yr 5 and 6 offering many new classes from September 2012. All classes start at 4.00 – 5.00pm. Please make your way to the main reception to sign in.

  • Dance workshops – Choreography and current trends.
  • Drama Club – script writing and effective techniques for performances.
  • Music Technology – composing your own digital music.
  • Craft Club – being creative with clay, drawing and paint techniques among many others.
  • Get Active, Sports Sessions  – Badminton, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee. These classes are offered at the beginning of the new academic year and subject to the weather.
  • Computer Workshops – Covering many skills for effective research and homework styles.
  • Spanish Club – beginners Spanish and culture workshops delivered with a fun and exciting atmosphere.
  • Digital Photography master classes – learning how to use the camera and how to take a great photo.
  • Movie Makers club – learning techniques on how to create you own short film.
  • Maths club – sessions held for Gifted and Talented students (Yr 5 & 6 students only at a min level 5)
  • Internet Safety workshops – one off sessions on how to stay safe online.
  • Homework Help club – covering all topics on a one : one level.
