APPEALS FOR YEAR 7 ENTRY SEPTEMBER 2012
Appeals for TGS should be lodged with the Admissions Officer Mrs Gailey by 30th March. There is no need to send complete paperwork at this stage, a simple statement of intention to appeal is sufficient.
An Independent Appeal Panel will sit at the school each day starting from Thursday 24th May. Individual dates and times will be arranged with parents early in May and final paperwork will be sent to all parties by 11th May. Information or evidence submitted after this point will be accepted but the panel may decide, depending on its significance and the possible need for an adjournment, not to consider it at the hearing. Please do not submit examples of your daughter’s work as part of your appeal as the Panel is unable to make assessments.
Appellants will be advised of the outcome of their hearing by the Panel Clerk within 5 school days of the last hearing.
